Jacob Williams

Jacob lives and works in New York City and hails from Oxford, North Carolina.

He’s performed in venues around New York City as well as at the North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, Austin Sketch Fest, the Del Close Marathon, and the New York Fringe Festival.

Writing credits include the UCB Maude Night team Pretty Boys and McSweeney’s Internet Tendency. He’s the host of the podcast Taking a Walk With Me, where he and a guest read a "Choose Your Own Adventure" book together.

Jacob currently performs regularly with the improv team Hard Candy with The Armory at The Tank Theater, as well as elsewhere in the city.



Jacob started acting at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with a B.A. in Drama and Communication Studies. Since moving to New York City, he’s continued studying at The Barrow Group, The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, and The Magnet Theater. He’s appeared in video sketches for the groups Faster Human and Danger Friends, as well as on stage at UCB, the Magnet, Caveat, the PIT, The New York Fringe Festival, and Ground UP Productions.
